Our standard bow is designed for Scandinavian bowed lyres and their adaptations, such as the Jouhikko, Talharpa, and Bass Jouhikko.

We craft our bows using a three-layer construction of Alder/Maple/Alder, which provides an optimal balance of rigidity and flexibility.

The bow hair consists of approximately 160 strands for Jouhikko and Talharpa bows, and 320–350 strands for Bass Jouhikko bows.
